1. About KookieRoom

KookieRoom ("we", "us", "our", or "KookieRoom") is an AI-powered last-minute hotel booking platform that connects travelers with premium hotel rooms in India at discounted rates, primarily through WhatsApp. KookieRoom acts as an intermediary between travelers and partner hotels.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (kookieroom.com) or booking services via WhatsApp, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions
• You will use our services only for lawful purposes

3. Booking Process

KookieRoom facilitates last-minute hotel bookings through the following process:

• You initiate a booking request via WhatsApp or our website
• Our AI concierge provides you with curated hotel options for tonight/tomorrow
• You select your preferred hotel and room type
• Payment is processed via UPI before confirmation
• A booking confirmation is sent to you via WhatsApp

All bookings are subject to availability. KookieRoom does not guarantee availability of any specific hotel or room type until a confirmation is issued.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. KookieRoom guarantees prices at least 30% below standard online rates for the same hotel and room type on the same night.

• Payment must be completed via UPI before a booking is confirmed
• We accept major UPI platforms (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM)
• Prices are dynamic and may vary based on availability and demand
• KookieRoom reserves the right to modify pricing without prior notice

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Due to the last-minute nature of our bookings:

• Free Cancellation: Bookings may be cancelled for a full refund up to 4 hours before check-in time
• Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 4 hours of check-in are subject to a 50% cancellation fee
• No-Show: No refund is applicable for no-shows
• Hotel-Initiated Cancellations: Full refund if the hotel cancels your confirmed booking

Refunds are processed to the original UPI account within 5-7 business days.

6. Check-In and Check-Out

• Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM IST; check-out is 11:00 AM IST unless otherwise specified
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to hotel availability and additional charges
• A valid government-issued photo ID is mandatory at check-in (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN card, or Voter ID)
• Unmarried couples must verify the hotel's guest policy before booking

7. User Responsibilities

As a user of KookieRoom services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information when making bookings
• Not use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Comply with all applicable laws and hotel policies during your stay
• Treat hotel staff and property with respect
• Not engage in any activity that damages KookieRoom's reputation

8. Limitation of Liability

KookieRoom acts as an intermediary and is not liable for:

• The quality, safety, or suitability of any hotel accommodation
• Any damages, losses, or injuries during your hotel stay
• Any discrepancies between the hotel's advertised and actual facilities
• Technical failures of WhatsApp or third-party payment platforms
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest)

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the booking amount paid.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on kookieroom.com, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of KookieRoom and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without explicit written permission.

10. WhatsApp Communication Terms

By initiating a booking via WhatsApp, you consent to:

• Receiving booking confirmations and updates via WhatsApp
• Being contacted for customer support purposes
• Receiving promotional offers (which you can opt out of by sending "STOP")

We comply with WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and Meta's terms of service.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of KookieRoom services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

KookieRoom reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
